Bounty Barrels is not live as of July 21, 2026. The latest run lasted from June 26 at 1:00 PM ET through June 28 at 4:00 PM ET, and there is no confirmed return date yet. It was a pickup-style tournament, not a standard railroad or corner event, so the board could feel different every few rolls. Players landing on a barrel pickup earned two base points, multiplied by their dice setting. That made it useful alongside a Monopoly Go Partners Event, especially for anyone trying to build up race currency without ignoring dice rewards.

Why the Big Dice Total Could Mislead Players

The headline number was huge: 27,705 dice across 100 milestones. Sounds great. But it did not mean finishing the whole track was automatically a good deal. Bounty Barrels demanded 111,400 points in total, and the expensive rewards were parked deep into the event. Milestone 62 gave 5,000 dice, but needed 10,375 points. The final 5,000-dice prize at milestone 100 needed another 22,225 points on its own. You could burn through a lot of rolls chasing a reward that looked close on the screen but really was not.

Pick a Target Before You Start Rolling

A sensible run usually had a stopping point. The early milestones were friendlier: milestone 15 offered 410 dice after 1,300 cumulative points, while milestone 25 gave 1,000 dice at 4,400 points. Sticker hunters had another clear target at milestone 26, where the final three-star sticker pack appeared. Players with deeper reserves could look at milestones 43, 48, 56, or 62, but those jumps got rough fast. A simple way to check your next move was.

    1. Look at the next reward you actually need.
    2. Check the points still missing.
    3. Scan the board for barrel clusters.
    4. Decide whether flags or a timed boost make the dice risk worthwhile.

Read the Board, Not Just the Milestone Bar

Barrels moved after you collected them. That was the whole trick. A high multiplier made sense when several pickups sat around likely landing numbers, giving you more than one way to score. If they were spread out, dropping back to a low multiplier was usually smarter. Plenty of players leave a big multiplier on after a successful hit. Then the board refreshes, the good cluster disappears, and the next few rolls hurt. Don't try to "win it back" by pushing the multiplier higher. That's how a decent session turns into a dice drain.

Flags Changed the Value of the Late Track

The last stretch leaned heavily on race flags, with 8,650 available across the full event. For a player only chasing dice, milestones after 62 could feel thin and costly. For someone active in a race, those flags had real value and could justify continuing. Timed rewards also mattered: Builder's Bash, Color Wheel Boost, Cash Boost, and Mega Heist were best claimed when you had time and dice ready to use them. If a future run lines up with your plans, some players may choose to buy Monopoly Go Partner Event support for their wider goals, but the smarter habit is still knowing when to stop before the board stops paying you back.
